Godsmack is an American rock band from
Lawrence, Ma, formed in 1995.

Sully Erna: lead vocals, rhythm guitar, keyboards, drums, percussion, harmonica (1995–present) Sully Erna is the bands founder, frontman and songwriter. -Salvatore Paul "Sully" Erna (born February 7, 1968 ) in Lawrence, Ma.
Tony Rombola: lead guitar, backing vocals (1997–present)
Robbie Merrill: bass guitar, (1996–present)
Shannon Larkin: drums, percussion (2002–present)

Godsmack has released five studio albums, one EP, four DVDs, and one greatest hits collection.

Godsmack has had three consecutive #1 albums (Faceless, IV, and The Oracle) on the Billboard 200. The band also has parked a ratified 18 top ten rock radio hits, including 15 songs in the Top Five. Godsmack is one of the most popular rock acts in the United States, selling almost 15 million records worldwide

Godsmacks primary influences include Alice in Chains, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Judas Priest, Pantera, Metallica and Rush.

Rolling Stone Magazine describes Godsmack as "hard as nails and cranked to eleven," while Alternative Press praised the band for its "churning, riff-driven hybrid of all that is heavy, past and present."
